Who we are
Lex Blenkers
Lex studied mechanical engineering at TU Delft. After his studies he worked as a data scientist at Dutch railway contractor Volkerrail for 4 years. In 2018 he founded Gridware B.V. together with his brother Peter-jan. At Gridware he is responsible for the IT architecture and operations running smoothly.
Peter-Jan Blenkers
Peter-Jan studied mathematics and physics at Utrecht University. After his studies he worked as data scientist at Dutch railway contractor Volkerrail for 6 years. In 2018 he founded Gridware B.V. together with his brother Lex. At Gridware he is responsible for algorithms and sales.
Leo Blenkers
Leo studied civil engineering at MTS Hengelo. After his studies he spent almost his entire career of 42 years at Dutch railway contractor Volkerrail. In 2022 he joined Gridware B.V. as first employee. At Gridware he is responsible for the finances, labelling data and managing GIS datasets.
What we do
Our company is Gridware. Since 2018 we do data consultancy in the rail sector. We worked for many different asset owners, contractors and measurement companies as shown here. We help organisations turn measurement data into actionable insights for assetmanagement. We believe in a holistic approach. With this we mean that successful organizations need to invest in data, applications, people and processes. Since 2020 we’ve been developing RailDB. The result of our efforts is the product presented on this website.
